Dear Folly Friends,

We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for a Grand Party at a Legendary Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island! The Kirks Folly Family will be Honorary Chairpersons for "Bittersweet" at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. - and we’re inviting all our Fairy Friends to join us!

All the proceeds from this glorious evening will benefit The Autism Project of Rhode Island. Join us for an Enchanted Evening of Music, Dancing, Feasting, Open Bar, Chocolate Tasting, Silent Auction and, of course, Kirks Folly Party Surprises! Of course, you may dress in Fairy Regalia or Simply Sparkle!!!

Rosecliff Mansion is one of the Jewels of Newport, but its capacity is limited, so only a certain number of Tickets can be sold. I have a stash of Tickets for my Special Fairies that can be purchased directly from our web site - for what would a party be without the Folly Fairies! The entire Magical Evening is just $75 which includes everything listed here - plus, each party-goer will receive our specially designed Solving the Puzzle Autism Pin as our personal Thank You gift! The Winning Bidder and a Guest will be flown to Providence the weekend of our famous Factory Sale in November 2007, will stay at a fabulous historic Bed and Breakfast, will attend a Private Dinner Party at Seaview, plus will receive Gifts Galore! If you’ve ever dreamed of shopping to your heart’s content at our Factory Sale or falling under Seaview’s magical spell - here’s your chance! As you can see, we’re dedicated to fighting Autism and we hope, with your help, to make a difference. Autism affects 1 in 166 births - a shocking number that's growing rapidly. It could affect you or I, our families, friends or loved ones at any moment. Bittersweet will be a magnificent experience - and the Ultimate Fairyland Weekend promises memories to treasure always - but more importantly these events, plus the purchase of our Autism Pins, will enable support and service to children with Autism and their families. Join the Party, Place a Bid, Wear a Pin, and Make a Difference!

Over the 28 years that Kirks Folly has existed, we have been honored to participate in many fundraising projects, including the Starlight Foundation, the 9/11 Fund, tsunami relief, breast cancer, lung and colon cancer, Katrina, ASPCA, diabetes, AIDS, child abuse prevention, alzheimers, thousands of schools, churches and benefits for the needy. We have dedicated ourselves to making a difference in 2007 and we hope you will be by our sides, hand in hand, changing lives. In light of this effort, we will be postponing our Spring Factory Sale to November, at which time we will have the "Sale of All Sales."
