Hi Jenniefer!
I know you are busy, but there is a product I have been hoping for quite awhile, and I was hoping you might make it.
Kirk´s Folly make the best awareness ribbon pins in the market, but in order to support them all, it makes me feel like I´m wearing uniform flair (Like at TGIFridays or a movie theatre). So I was hoping you might make them bracelet charms & release an "Expect Miracles" charm bracelet to coordinate. I think it would be really beautiful, especially considering what they stand for. I know some of my fondest memories selling Kirk´s Folly are about people who were encouraged to make it through the difficult times by your product. It would be a nice extension to that, particularly for the family & friends of people enduring the causes represented.
It´s just a thought. I hope that you & the family consider it. Thank you again for your time & consideration.
Sincerely,
Kim
Kim,
What a great idea - I will share this with Helen right away - thanks so much! Jen
Jenniefer, Recently, I contacted Kirks Folly by telephone. I wanted to see if I could purchase a new chain for my
daughter´s "Love Never Dies" locket. It is a favorite of my daughter. She is 15 and is your biggest
fan. The chain was broken when it was pulled on by a 3 year old. Emily was heartbroken!
The person I talked to said that she would "just send me one". It arrived soon after. I can´t tell you
how impressed I am with your company´s generous and timely attention to my daughter´s problem.
Kirks Folly is a wonderful organization. I look forward to your QVC shows and enjoy browsing online
as well. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!
Roxi
Greetings Roxi,
Thanks so much for your lovely email - our customers do come first - and your "Love Never Dies" is a very special piece and should be perfect - Jenniefer
Jenniefer,
In all my years of watching QVC let be honestly state I never saw
myself as a Kirks Folly shopper. That is OF COURSE until recently.
It all started with the accidental purchase of a little black dress-
the accident being that the dress had sparkles, or a "dusting" if you
will of specks of silver. Anyone who has ever known this redhead
knows my saying: silver and me do not agree. It´s always gold. Never,
ever, never ever, silver. However, this dress was a perfect fit for
my figure and for my younger brother's upcoming formal October 15th
wedding. I found a pair of Coach shoes on clearance from $180 to
$50. Not just a steal but very important as I am recuperating from
back surgery (I was a good samaritan and caught a 73 year-old woman
but blew a disc in the process) so I needed to find dress kitten heels
I could walk in. After buying them, non-returnable, I notice the
eyelets holding the black satin ribbon that made a bow were...silver!
I began to feel the forces that be at work.
I gave into whatever the powers that be were and went to QVC on-line.
I scanned through their lengthy A-B-C listing of jewelry knowing I was
going to have to go with something in the line of silver and that,
most likely, I´d never wear the thing again. I had already spent
hours looking through eBay offerings to no avail - nothing jumped out
at me screaming "you found me". Then my eyes focused on Kirks Folly.
I sat there thinking everything else was out of the ordinary and
contrary to what I thought, so why not go against the grain and look
at something I had thought previously wasn´t me this time- I mean
wasn´t something trying to tell me that already?
And that, Jenniefer, is exactly how I found the absolutely perfect
finishing touches for my dress. The Fairy Queen necklace and matching
stretch bracelet along with a pair of aurora borealis earrings. Let
me assure anyone who doesn´t care for stretch bracelets, this is
generously made and does not feel like one at all, which is why this
design one me over. I had paid extra on shipping I was so nervous
they wouldn´t arrive in time. They got here today. I put them on
immediately with the dress, and a little of your fairy dust must have
gotten in the packing because I have now gone to your website, and
look at me, I think I am ordering a SILVER dragonfly hair barrette!
So the moral of my story is, I guess, all good things do come in time
and I am a late bloomer. Thanks to all of your extended family for
the hard work they do in putting the Whimsy and Love in these
wonderful creations!
Sincerely,
Angela
P.S. In the end my purchase of silver beauties will most definitely be able
to be worn on other occasions. In the beginning of my search I had
felt as if whatever money I was going to spend would be thrown away
and I´d end up never wearing the items again. I have never been so
pleasantly happy to have been proven wrong!
Dear Angela,
What a wonderful story - it´s so funny what opens the door to a new you - or a part of you that just needs to sparkle a touch. Women are amazing creatures just waiting for new adventures.
Sparkle on my friend - so maybe we will see you November 26th on QVC - that is if you can stay up that late 2:00 AM?? Now that´s a challenge. Remember the Magic - Jenniefer
Dear All,
I cannot understand why they put your wonderful shows on in the middle of the night?? Some of us have to work the next morning and have no way to tape it. What seems to be the problem with QVC programming you guys have been on for many years and yet they want to give you crap hours?? I cannot even tell you how much I have loved your shows over the years but I cannot be up at 1:00 am - 3:00 am and then go to work. For no good reason you will be loosing a lot of viewers who would otherwise watch, enjoy and order. Please feel free to forward this message to QVC but I am going to address them myself.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
M. Lewin
Dear Marge,
I hear your frustration - just imagine how I feel after 14 years. Believe me, I have no choice. Thanks for being so loyal - a true Folly Girl. Magic Always - Jen
Hi you guys,
I just read your newsletter and saw your pics from Ireland. How beautiful. What an exciting life you all must have.
I envy all of you. I would love to get up to Rhode Island some day. I was wondering when you will have your
Holiday Show on QVC?
I just love all your beautiful things. I also have many of your sparkles. Love them all. I try to watch you on QVC any
time your on. I was also wondering if you could have some sparkle purses on QVC or do you already? I´ve never
seen them, but I think that would be great and I would love to have one if you have them. What a wonderful
family you have. Mine live out of town so thats really difficult for me. Keep the beautiful things coming.
Thank you
Your sparkle friend
Clela
Greetings Clela,
So happy to hear from you - thank you for all the lovely thoughts. t may sound like our lives are all Folly Dust and Fun but let me tell you, we all work very hard. I think attitude is everything. The harder you work the more fun you have to have! Agreed?
Our next shows on QVC are: November 26th and December 21st - Jen
Hi Jenniefer,
I´m one of your faithful followers who just loves Kirks Folly especially your earrings. Although I do have lots of other items - I have been a fan from your first show and always add a piece to my collection on every visit you make to the UK.
I am disabled Jenniefer and rely on a walking stick. I need to use it all the time and find it so distasteful when I wear an evening dress as my stick always looses down my outfit. Have you guessed yet what I´m going to suggest to the fairy designer??
Can you design a Kirks Folly walking stick? How about that one for the drawing board Jenniefer? I know it would look great with any outfit and great on that special occasion could you ask the fairies for a little help and inspiration in the design area.
Well it was just a suggestion - but think about it please.
Regards
Linda
From the West Midlands in the UK
Dear Linda,
You are so right and we have had requests in the past. It is a difficult design feat as everyone has different size a walking sticks. This may be one for Brother George as he is very good at inventing functional items. I will pass your request on to both Helen and George. Magic Always - Jennie
